This is my saviem SG2

Hi Saviem fans,
My name is Antal and I live in Hungary. I bought this motorhome 5 years ago. It is from 1980 so turning to 40 years soon. To my knowledge it was imported from Switzerland in about 1989 and someone installed a caravan on the plato and turned it to a motorhome. The next owner replaced the original engine to an athmospheric Avia A31 engine. He owned and used the car a lot from 1991 till 2013 when I bought it. I gradually refurbished the most important parts, engine sleeves and bearings, axle joints and brakes. Sometimes I order parts from Chech but very often they does not fit. Last time I had to order fron shock absorbers from France. I also ordered a temp sensor because the one in the Avi engine did not match with the instrument. The same problem still exists with my oil pressure sensor and one day I have to solve it.

The watch on the top is not original. I dont know what should be there. I see that the original watch is on the middle bottom but I have such a nice "Saviem" plug there so I am not sure I want to replace.
The small indicator lamp covers became very fragile. I would appreciate if someone could sell me some pieces.

You own probably a SG2 : the SG3 has twin wheels on the rear axle.
Check also the braking assistance: the SG2 uses a mastervac while the SG3 has 2 hydrovac.

Same answers than ext3, logically, it's seem's to be équivalent to a SG2. I think it's a A21, it is ?

Normally a real SG2 with a more modern Avia engine ?
